What the Athlete Badge gives you
When you get the Athlete Badge, you receive a blue tick on your Buzzer profile confirming that your identity has been checked and verified on the platform. That, in its own way, tells scouts, clubs, and fans that you’re the real deal.
Even so, the badge is just part of a much broader service. With it comes your Digital Sports CV that has all the information you need: your sport, position, experience, physical characteristics, achievements, and highlights all in one shareable online profile. Forget old-school PDFs that scouts barely open.
Think “LinkedIn, but purely for athletes” kind of thing.
Your card also comes with a QR code that allows anyone to access your professional profile in one scan, which would come in as a handy response, say in a tryout or tournament when someone asks “who are you?”
Getting found
The Athlete Badge also puts you in Buzzer’s scout and club databases. This means clubs and scouts actively looking for players can find you, not just the fans who follow you.
Your visibility on the platform increases. You improve your chances of being considered for tryouts. And when you’re shortlisted, those evaluating you have context rather than try to get to know you from scratch.
Your story, on the platform
Every Athlete Badge holder receives an official article on Buzzer. Not a social post, but a real article about your career and who you are as an athlete, written by Buzzer’s own editorial team, and one that you can share as well. Something that lives beyond a single post or a story that disappears after 24 hours.
You also receive a one-time $50 Ad Credit to promote your content on Buzzer in front of millions of users. Feel free to use it for whatever matters most to you.
